Where any claim is made by yourself or any third party, whether or not legal proceedings are issued, arising out of or in connection with the supply of information to you by the Trust, you are required to co-operate fully with any investigation by the Trust in connection with any such claim and to give all such assistance as may reasonably be required by the Trust regarding the conduct of any legal proceedings. Personal, medical or other sensitive information relating to patients or staff of the Trust, or information regarding the business activities of the Trust, must be treated as confidential and must not be disclosed except in accordance with any statutory or other legal requirement or as otherwise expressly permitted by the Trust and this obligation on you shall continue after the expiry of this Contract. Personal data must also be collected, handled and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any third party request for confidential information must be directed to your Trust supervisor.
