| Overview: | Improving Patients' Experience is a newsletter published regularly by Picker Institute Europe. It is produced in response to the NHS Patient Survey Programme for Trusts looking at ways to improve the quality of services they provide. This newsletter is designed to inspire changes in practice and to promote the sharing of good ideas. Each issue will focus on a particular aspect of patient care. The theme for Issue 8, January 2004 is improving information & communication within the emergency department. It covers the main issues from the National Emergency Department patient Survey, suggestions for improvement and examples of good practice on this area. |
