Title:	Newsletter: Pain Management
Overview:	Improving Patients' Experience is a newsletter published monthly by Picker Institute Europe. It is produced in response to the NHS Patient Survey Programme for Trusts looking at ways to improve the quality of services they provide. This newsletter is designed to inspire changes in practice and to promote the sharing of good ideas. Each issue will focus on a particular aspect of patient care. The theme for Issue 1, November 2002 is Pain Management. It covers the main issues from the National Inpatient Survey, suggestions for improvement, useful websites, a reading list and examples of effective pain management in practice.
