| Overview: | This letter from the Commission for Health Improvement, sent to Trusts in December 2002, explains that a survey of PCT patients is being planned for spring 2003. This survey will be part of the NHS patient survey programme, which is now being managed by the Commission for Health Improvement (CHI). The aim is that results will feed into the 2003 performance ratings of Primary Care Trusts. This paper outlines the background to the survey programme and the objectives, content and methodology for the PCT survey and how the CHI plan to disseminate the results.
